Two new 1/700 scale offerings on their way soon from AJM Models. Coming soon is the Royal Australian Navy’s HMAS Stuart and British adrmiral destroyer HMS Scott
AJM Models was founded in 2014. AJM Models, with a passion for ship modelling hobby, recently began offing their own line of 1/350 and 1/700 scale multimedia kits and accessories. Awaiting future release, as early as June 2015, AJM Models presents their HMS Scott and HMAS Stuart kit

British Admirals.ty Destroyer HMS Scott

Commissioned in 1917, the HMS Scott would see less than one year of service before being sunk by the German submarine UC-17 in August of 1918. The first ship of the Admiralty Type Leader-class, also known as the Scott-class, the HMS Scott was also the first ship to bare the name 'Scott' after Sir Walter Scott.


The British Admiralty Destroyer HMS Scott kit will contain the WW1 British and Australian version of the Scott-class destroyer in one box. There will be different bridges, large decal with signs and flags to 3,5-2,5 cm, a sheet of photo etched parts for main navy guns BLl4,7 inch/45 -120 mm (5 guns with shields and base), Brass wire for the masts and equipment, instructions in Polish and English and rigging plan.



Australian destroyer HMAS Stuart

Commissioned originally in 1917 for the Royal Navy and formally known as HMS Stuart, she was transferred to the Royal Australian Navy in 1939. The Stuart, a Scott-class destroyer, led the RAN destroyer flotilla after leaving port in 1939 heading to Malta and later combining with other Destroyer Divisions to create the RAN 10th Destroyer Flotilla. She would finish out here service with an earned eight battle honors for her wartime service: "Mediterranean 1940", "Calabria 1940", "Libya 1940–41", "Matapan 1941", "Greece 1941", "Crete 1941", "Pacific 1942–43", and "New Guinea 1942–44". She was decommissioned in 1946 and then scrapped.

The Australian destroyer HMAS Stuart multimedia kit will be cast in resin to depict the Stuart in either her 1941 or 1942 configurations, possibly with different bridge or platform configurations. The model is reported to come with a complimented of photo etch to create the Lewis, Vickers the Breda 20 mm guns along with cast resin pom-pom guns. Included as well will be a photo etch sheet for parts of the 4.7 inch /45 - 120 mm, brass for the masts and equipment and decals. The instructions will be provided in both English and Polish.

Currently in production from AJM Models are the HMS Malcolm,HMS Douglas,HMS Mackay and HMS Campbell!!!

We eagerly await the arrival of both the British Admiralty Destroyer HMS Scott and AJM Models Australian destroyer HMAS Stuart kits from AJM Models.
