This incredible new set, packed with over 200 detail parts corrects and highly details many of the soft detailing and imperfections seen on the Revell VIIC U-boat kit. The set is a collaboration between Uschi and SRS bringing this new set to the fans of this classic U-boat model.

Incorporating hatches, brackets for grab bars, deck and wall detailing to the topside of the coning tower as well as radar and more. This packed set is sure to please anyone looking to add big improvements to the parts of this kit.

I have been semi-looking Bill as I had the same question. I have the Eduard and Modelbrass sets as each one had something to offer ...I have the AMP set too (damn I have a bunch of crap for that kit I never finished...LOL!!) Anyway, I like the looks of the interior wall planks over the Eduard. Also, the floor plating looks to be an insert on the Uschi while the Modelbrass is a full replacement of the kit part....tough call. I might have to pick up one of Uschi's and compare them all...LOL!

This set was made by SRS, but marketed/sold through Uschi. SRS has been posting progress pictures of their items on their Facebook page; I have some for the Type IXC. He makes really great stuff for a few boats (1/72 Type VIIC and IXC, as well as a TON of stuff for the 1/40 Robbe RC boat).

Thanks Glenn! I mentioned SRS in the promo. Pete Hamann has does a fantastic job with this and other stuff. I spoke with Alex from Uschi on the phone this morning. As you would figure, he is very excited for these new developments and like us, look forward to seeing more coming soon! Uschi van der Rosten has always exceeded my expectations with quality, pricing and shipping. Great to see they are expanding the line!
