Advance News from new Germany based A/M ship accessory manufacturer, BMK, of two upcoming releases added to their growing line of unique and interesting upgrade kits.

A short while ago, we ran a News story here at MSW of a group of German ship modelers who were beginning to manufacture their own aftermarket barrels and accessories, being offered to the modeler at modellmarine.de.

We are now pleased to report that the company, BMK, now has an official website of their own, and is growing on a steady pace. The products are still available from modellmarine.de, as this is the company's origins.

Lets go over a few details of the modellmarine.shop.
In 2004 http://www.modellmarine.de was founded by some enthusiastic
ship model builders. The intension was to create a german speaking webzine
about shipmodelling with kit and book reviews, build-ups, walk-arounds, tips
and technics etc.

The webzine is actualised daily with new articles, from outstanding European shipmodellers. Their “crew” is very experienced in ship technology, naval history and of course in building ship models.

Therefore, they are aware of the deficits and problems with many kits and decided
to make replacement parts and detail-sets to correct those failures.

Every member of the modellmarine community has a regular fulltime job, so
right now the shop is only a small side line business.

There are future plans from the company for photo-etch, as well as full resin upgrades and conversions for many subjects.
