Commissioned on August 25th, 1937, HMS Sheffield was the third light cruiser of the Town-class (Southampton -first group- sub class). The kit depicts HMS Sheffield as during the Battle of the Barents Sea which took place on December 31st, 1942.
From L'Arsenal:
Nicknamed 'Shiny Sheff' because her fittings were made of stainless steel instead of traditional brass, she spent a busy career between 1938 and 1959. Along with HMS Belfast she’s probably the most famous Royal Navy cruiser of World War Two.

She took parts in the Norwegian Campaign (1940), Mediterranean and the Battle of Cape Spartivento with Force H (1940-41), the hunt for the Bismarck (1941), the Artic convoys to Murmansk (1941-43), the Battle of the Barents Sea (1942), the Salerno landings (1943), the Battle of North Cape (1943), operations against the Tirpitz (1944), Mediterranean fleet (1952-53) She was decommissioned and broken up in 1967.

During night of the Barents Sea Battle she sailed with cruiser HMS Jamaica and intercepted a German force which was attacking the convoy JW 51B north of the North Cape. She sunk the German destroyer Friedrich Eckholdt and damaged the heavy cruiser Hipper. This battle resulted in a critical outcome for the rest of the war, as following this failure of his operation Hitler almost decided to scrap his surface fleet and concentrate on submarine warfare and led to the resigning of admiral Raeder.

No mention if this kit comes with complete PE? Pre-measured railing or lengths to cut and fit?

I've reached out to L'Arsenal for more. Free Time just took what the L'Arsenal site had and there's no details there either.

I saw this kit yesterday courtesy of a friend in our local club. It's fantastic- crisply and cleanly cast parts, fine detail, plenty of PE- I gotta get one!
