Their subject title, not mine! Two 'kits' meant to be weekend projects that are targeted for Blue Jacket's gallery visitors this summer are one piece cast resin hulls and cherry backboards. They only require to be finish and mounted. Pre-drilling has been done to make for perfect mounting.

One is the Lobster boat/Picnic boat, (No K1103) is listed for $95.00. You choose which version you want to make, the kit includes parts for both. Two laser-cut pieces join to the resin, then it is painted and mounted. A waterline jig is included along with the nameplate laser etched in the basswood. The basswood plaque measures 7" x 15" (17.7cm x 38cm).


The other is One-Design Atlantic (No. K1104) and is listed for $75.00. A classic keel boat designed for club racing and fast sailing. All that's needed to do is clean and paint the hull and then mount it. A waterline jig and nameplate as described above is also included. Basswood plaque measures 7" x 18" (17.7cm x 45.72cm).

Makes me long for the ol' home state of Maine.
