A set of US Naval aircraft and a Japanese Marine Self Defense Force vessel are Pit-Roads latest offerings. The aircraft are 1/700 and the ship is 1/350.    
   
These are post-Vietnam aircraft that were in service when the F-14 Tomcat was the fleet defense fighter and are comprised of 4 of each of the following aircraft types:
- A-4 Skyhawk
- A-6 Intruder
- A-7E Corsair II
- F-14 Tomcat
- F / A-18 Hornet
- E-2C Hawkeye
- EA-6B Prowler
And two each of:
- E-2C Hawkeye
- S-3 Viking
The set (No S12) also includes 4 tow tractors. The markings included represent aircraft of Carrier Wing 15 (CVW-15) of CVN-70 USS Carl Vinson. Pit-Road gives a list price of „1,600 ($13.26 USD).
The ship is labeled as thd DD-107 Ikadzuchi, a Murasame class destroyer. These are third-generation general purpose destroyers that began entering service in the later half of the 1990's with 9 being built and are all in service today. The Murasame was a successor to the Asagiri class, and like its predecessor, it mainly tasked with ASW and ASuW.
The kit is considered a limited edition version comprising of over 600 parts including PE detail parts for life-saving pod mount, Type 90 4 twin anti-ship missile launcher stand, Rattaru, M2 12.7mm heavy machine gun, LRAD long distance sound generating devices, bulletproof version, CIWS stay, mast yards, OPS-24B anti-aircraft radar, and for Oto Melara 76mm guns. It includes a HH-60J helicopter and is 431 mm (about 17 inches) when completed. It is listed for „ 8,000 ($66.00 USD).
