Well, there is definitely something funny going over there!

If it's true, it would not actually be funny as much as it would be looking like good business!! I have it on good authority that a rather large package recently left the corporate headquarters of Uschi van der Rosten earlier today heading for, get this, Flyhawk Models!

In knowing the Uschi product line fairly well, I have to think that we might be seeing Rig That Thing, Uschi's brand of fine rigging for ships and aircraft in future Flyhawk Model kits really soon!

Uschi van der Rosten has been offering a line of rigging similar to other elastic thread based rigging products called Rig That Thing. The rigging is sold in three different sizes for better choice in application and scale. All of the sizes of high elastic stretch rigging thread, .005, .003 & .001, are supplied on a handy metal "Bobbin" giving the modeler 150Feet (45m) to work with. For aircraft, ships and everything that needs a proper rigging.

Recently I had seen where Uschi had shown a offshoot to the Rig That Thing with a "Shorter Length" version called Rig That (DAYUM) Thing. This is a smaller version the company was putting together...and I quote, "for a manufacturer". So I might surmise the fact of the new rigging selection added with the package sneaking out the back door at Uschi HQ addressed to Flyhawk to mean there might be some sort of collaboration soon!! This of course would be just another fantastic development for a manufacturer, like Flyhawk, who makes some exceptional kits offering basically all the bells and whistles when it comes to detail and photo etch to now offer rigging for the modeller to take their builds to the next level!!
