If you have a the "Lady Lex" or "Sister Sara" in either 1/700 or 1/350 you now have an option for bridge tower styles. Model Monkey makes bridge styles for these American WWII carriers as they appeared in 1936, 1942, 1943 and 1944.
The 2 Lexington class of aircraft carriers began life as battlecruisers under construction in the early 1920's that were completed as carriers. While the smaller USS Ranger was the US Navy's first aircraft carrier, tactics and strategies for carrier warfare were developed on these next generation larger carriers. Their original cruiser hull lines made these ships narrower than later serving wartime carriers and made them the longest in length aircraft carriers to serve in the US Navy during the Second World War years until the launch of the USS Midway in 1945. The Lexington was sunk at the Battle of Midway in 1942 while the Saratoga survived the war but was expended as a target in atomic bomb tests in 1946.

As they years went by in service, variations in walkways and platforms changed on these ships and Model Monkey's towers allow you to depict the year you want your Lexington or Saratoga to be in.

1/700 scale parts range in price from $17.00 to $19.00 (US) and $39.00 to $43.00 for 1/350 options (plus shipping). Orders can be made direct to Model Monkey's webstore.
