Model Monkey has recently released two sets of anchors that come in several scales. They are 4000lb anchors for destroyers and 30000lb anchors for battleships.
Essentially identical, their appropriate use is dictated by the scale of the particular subject.
The battleship set is patterned on the US Navy's standard 30,000 pound anchors used on battleships. USS Arizona and USS Pennsylvania may have carried this type.
The destroyer set is patterned on the US Navy's standard 4,000 pound anchors used on destroyers and destroyer escorts from the 1930s onward.
Price ranges from $7.00 for 1/700 scale to $22.00 for 1/96 scale. They are available from the Model Monkey webstore.
