1350

Niko Models of Poland has released kit No. 3501, a 1/350 scale version of the Treasury class United States Coast Guard Cutter Roger B. Taney as the ship appeared in 1944.
The resin kit can be built either waterline or full-hull, and is fully up to Niko’s usual high standards scale fidelity and casting quality. It may be a little pricey, but it is miles ahead of Revell’s old 1/303 scale plastic version from the 1950s!

The Taney can be ordered for ¥18,760 (approximately US$165.00) from Hobbylink Japan.

I agree, the Treasury class cutters were great looking ships! I've always liked this one especially; my dad served aboard the Taney in the 1950s.

Good looking ships, and superb sub hunters, too. I have a reissue of the Revell kit, but it's wonderful someone's released this class in 1/350! --Karl
