New from Combrig, a resin kit, with full hull and waterline kit versions available, of the Russian Imperial protected cruiser Svetlana. She was built to be a royal yacht for Grand Duke Alexei Alexandrovich Romanov , commander-in-chief of the Imperial Russian Navy.
The cruiser was equipped with six 152-mm Canet guns, ten 47-mm Hotchkiss guns and two torpedoes. After the start of the Russo-Japanese War in 1904, Grand Duke Alexei offered the use of Svetlana as part of the reinforcements to be sent to the Russian Pacific Fleet on 15 March 1904. Svetlana was refitted with a new rangefinder and wireless system, and four of her Hotchkiss guns were replaced with 75-mm cannon. She was sunk in combat during Battle of Tsushima of that war.

Combrig's kit comes in two styles - No 3592FH for a full hull and No 3592WL for a waterline kit. These kits are comprised of resin and brass photoetch parts with instructions.

It doesn't seem to be in stock yet with a lot of the usual vendors for Combrig but I have seen it available from Russian Federation based Ebay merchants (with 100% ratings) that place the water line kit at about $150.00 (US) plus shipping and the full hull version for $200.00 (US) plus shipping.
