E.V.A. just released its third kit in 1/350 scale, this time we have the Scirè, WW2 Italian submarine.

This resin and photoetch kit comes in 1/350 scale. Decals included.

Scirè became famous for having accomplished many missions violating enemy harbours such as Alexandria and Gibraltar. She carried manned torpedoes to be released in the proximity of the target.

Her most successful mission was the Alexandria raid, 18 of December 1941 when six divers riding three SLCs (Slow Run Torpedo) knocked out HMS Valiant, HMS Queen Elizabeth, HMS Jarvis and one tanker. Probably the Italian Navy's biggest success during WW2.
