Kajika models of Japan has announced the February 2017 release of KJKKM70001, the Imperial Navy battlecruiser Kongo.

Kajika’s 1/700 scale kit will represent the famous battlecruiser in her initial 1914 apprarance. Kajika is apparently a division of Flyhawk models that will focus on Japanese subjects. If it is up to the standard of that company’s prior 1/700 releases, this should be one nice molding!

The new battlecruiser is listed by Hobbylink Japan at http://hlj.com/product/KJKKM70001 and can be preordered now for ¥3,120 (about US$27.00).
