Aoshima models of Japan has announced the March 2017 release of the seaplane tender Akitsushima in 1700 scale.

Aoshima’s 1/700 scale kit may be a reissue of Pit Road’s excellent Akitsushima kit from the 1990s, as like that kit it also includes H6K “Mavis” and H8K “Emily” aircraft. However, it also includes a torpedo boat, so it just might be a new tooling.
