Aoshima models of Japan has announced the March 2017 release of the aircraft carrier Victorious in 1700 scale.
Aoshima’s 1/700 scale kit may be a new tooling, but judging by the asking price it appears to be a reissue of their now very dated 1970s issue (kit WLA109).

The flattop is listed by Hobbylink Japan at http://hlj.com/product/AOS05106 and can be preordered now for ¥2,240 (about US$19.00).
