Pit-Road announces the January 2017 release of their 1/700 scale IJN Destroyer Akebono.

Full length: approx 169mm.

- Akebono belonging to a particular type destroyer second group, was completed on July 31, 1931.
- When the war is belong to the seventh Destroyer Squadron, was hit in the escort of the main force.
- In the Battle of the Coral Sea in May 1942, escort the aircraft carrier Shokaku. Also in the Aleutian strategy of June 1942 it was attended.
- From January 1944 but it belongs to the first torpedo squadron fifth fleet, after participating in the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October of the same year, received a bombing in Manila harbor on November 13, sank.

- This product contains a new equipment set NE07 (1/700 new WWII Japanese Navy vessels equipped with set 7) bundled, and more precisely it is possible to reproduce the appearance at the time of 1941 war.
