This 1/700 Akashi looks to be in some ways even better than the Pit Road version (I can see plating molded on the hull, for example). The underage-looking KanColle girls are still just a little creepy, though...

LOL...that is an "interesting" cultural aspect to these kits. Anime is absolutely HUGE in the Asian marketplace. This kit still looks interesting. A sheet of IJN railings and it would may a nice little dio add-on!

It shouldn't take long when the kit is available as a regular kit. And perhaps Aoshima will also relase a pe set for it.
