We still have several forums here at the site that are in need of an individual whom would like to take on the responsibility of a host, list is as follows:

Military Small Craft

Civilian Ships and Boats

Military Support Vessels

Cruisers

Sailing Vessels

The Carpenter Shop

Here is the official "Forum Host/Moderator Job Description" :

Forum Host (all sites)

Summary: The Forum Host shall oversee a forum or discussion group in a forum and work to ensure its growth and well being.

Job Responsibilities:

• The primary duty of the Forum Host is to work to build the best forum environment possible for their topic. This includes responding to direct questions, starting thoughtful topics, engaging users in discussions, and moderating problem issues should they arrise.

• A Forum Host should visit their forum on a regular basis with a minium visitation of once every few days. If a Host is going to be away for longer than 1 week we ask that they post a message to that effect so that other staff/hosts can try to cover for them.

• Forum Hosts should exibit a professional and respectful tone in all their postings.

Requirements:

• Forum Hosts should be capable modelers with at least 3 years experience concurrent experience building the types of scale models their forum covers.

• They need to demonstrate good judgment and a strong sense of ethics in deciding forum moderating and posting issues.

• Conduct oneself professionally in all environments, including industry events.

Position Type: Non-editorial/staff.

Compensation: This is a volunteer position.
