Aoshima models of Japan has announced the September 2017 release of the IJN Submarine Tender Taigei in 1/700 scale.
Also to be released in a “Fleet Collection/Kancolle” version, this iteration will dispense with the creepy anime theme and instead provide a model of the submarine I-8 to go with the tender.

The Submarine Tender Taigei is listed by Hobbylink Japan at https://hlj.com/product/AOS05181 and can be preordered for ¥3,040 (about US$28.00).
