NEW SECTIONS ADDED

Three new sections have been added to Mike's website. A new section titled "SHIP, AIRCRAFT & GROUND VEHICLE PICTURE REFERENCE" has been added. This section has scanned photographs and digital images from Mike' vast reference collection and they are in PDF format. A new section titled "MIKE'S SCALE MODEL KIT AND ACCESSORY REVIEWS" has been added and each review is also in PDF format. A new section has been added in model railroading titled "POSTCARDS". These are pictures of structures, buildings and industrial centers in PDF format for model railroaders who want to depict their layout models in real life colors and weather them realistically.

MIKE'S COMPREHENSIVE SERIES SCALE MODEL MANUALS ARE NOW AVAILABLE

We have taken a very different approach to publishing, which allows us to incorporate a lot of sequenced color pictures into each manual, at a nominal price. Each manual is printed on heavy stock glossy paper and designed to be stored in a customer supplied 3-ring "D" binder. Each manual is 3-ring punched and also comes with a front and back cardstock cover to protect the manual and front, back and side cardstock inserts for your binder. The side insert has 3 different cutout sizes for 1.5, 2 and 3 inch "D" ring binders.

Purchases can be made using personal checks, United States Postal Service or Western Union money orders.

After spending big bucks on a kit and associated detail sets why not spend a fraction of the total cost on a comprehensive step by step, color photo manual that will provide you with all the information you need to build a museum masterpiece. All the comprehensive series manual models are also in the gallery sections of Mike’s web site so you can use them for reference while you are building your masterpiece.

Scale Model Magazines sell a typical scale modeling book 95 pages in length which has approximately 290 color photos for $21.95. As a comparison, Mike Ashey Productions “BUILDING AND DETAILING THE TRUMPETER 1/350 SCALE USS FRANKLIN" has 72 pages and 419 color photos and sells for $13.75
