Round 2, under the Lindberg label, has reissued Pyro’s classic Brig of War sailing ship model.
Based on the War of 1812 brig Fair American, Pyro's Brig of War was one of the early units of their "Antique Ship" series from the 1960s. The model was designed for younger modelers with simple, fast construction and a minimum of parts. The model was also later issued by Life-Like and by Lindberg.

According to Round 2:

Yankee craftsmen designed the actual Brig of War to outsail and outmaneuver Old World ships. This kit is a true craftsman’s model with a graceful hull and deck detail featuring billowing sails and a perfect ship for gamers.

Item No: HL203
(Round 2) Release: June 2014
