Round 2, under the Lindberg label, has reissued Pyro’s classic Gouda Dutch Man O’War sailing ship.

This kit is a reissue of the Dutch Man O’War Gouda originally produced by Pyro in 1967. Later issued by Life-Like and then by Lindberg, this was one of Pyro’s larger and better sailing ship kits.

While the real Gouda was a Dutch third rate ship of the line, the model has a hull that looks more like an armed merchantman, but it also has lots of attractive details and looks to be simple to assemble. According to Round 2, who have been reissuing many of these classic kits:

“Lindberg is proud to release a finely crafted model of the Gouda sailing ship, a two decker warship used during the first Anglo-Dutch War. Our kit is 14” long and contains 288 parts! It’s a must have for any model ship builder.”
