Mike Ashey has updated his website adding a number of new photographs to some ongoing reviews and his walk around reference section!

The Hobby Boss 1/350 scale USS Alaska, CB-1 Comprehensive Series Manual is behind schedule and should be ready for sale by mid March. This kit has some challenges and some of the photoetch had to be replaced with some sturdy and well designed Gold Medal Model parts. As you can see from the final fit check photos other kit modifications have also been made to increase the accuracy of the kit.

Two new 1/48 scale aircraft have been added to the aircraft gallery and a photo reference for a Douglas SBD has been added to the aircraft reference page.

A “tape up” review of the 1/350 scale Tamiya HMS King George-V has been added to the ship review section.

A picture reference of a Mikado 2-8-2 steam locomotive has been added to the railroad picture reference page.
