Yankee Modelworks sends us news of their very interesting backdate kit for Trumpeter's 1/350 USS Massachusetts. The Trumpeter kit depicts the USS Massachusetts in her current configuration as a museum ship, roughly her final outfit in 1946.

Yankee Modelworks backdate kit includes all the parts required to complete a finely detailed model of the Massachusetts in her more popular 1944 appearance. The kit is comprised of resin parts with White metal detail fittings.

I have drawings of this ship and class as a JPG FILE (LARGE.......!)of the 16-inch turrets,General arrangements and Compartment Access and others free to download IF YOU CAN HANDLE THE SIZE! All drawings are available as print if need be in any size. Photographs taken aboard this ship in 1991 are available to download or in any size. Pieter.

Yes...I have the YMW conversion kit for my Massachusetts...and it IS good!
