Pit-Road has announced the April 2018 release of their battleship Musashi as she appeared at the time of her loss at Leyte Gulf.
Following up on last year’s release of the their new-tool 1/700 scale IJN Yamato, Pit-Road now brings us the IJN Musashi as she appeared in 1944 around the time of the Battle of Leyte Gulf! Although the basic shape is the same as Yamato, this kit is reproduced based on the 2015 underwater survey of the Musashi wreck.
• New parts for the Musashi added
• Waterline / full hull model selectable
• Stand included for those who build as full hull
• Model measures approximately 376mm long when completed
The battleship Musashi is available for preorder from Hobbylink Japan at https://hlj.com/product/PITW-201 for ¥5,580 or about US$55.00 plus shipping.
