Kajika (Flyhawk) of Japan has announced the April 2019 release of an Imperial Japanese Navy Carrier Based Aircraft set in 1/700 scale.

The set consists of two each early war IJN carrier planes:

• Type 21 fighter “Zero”
• Type 97 torpedo bomber “Kate”
• Type 99 dive bomber “Val”

The planes come in injected molded plastic with separate drop tanks, torpedoes, bombs, and landing gear as well as separate clear canopies. Decals include Hinomaru national markings plus white, blue, yellow, and red fuselage bands.
