Imperial Hobby Productions has announced the November, 2019 release of a 1/700 USN Battleship USS South Dakota (BB-49) 1921 Craftsman Kit.

Would a model of the USS Kentucky BB-66 (if they were to make one available) be a conversion or a craftsmen kit? In other words would the Kentucky have been an exact match for any other existing kit or would it have had qualities unique to only itself?
