Pit-Road (Skywave) Models of Japan has announced the release of an IJN Army Aviation Air Base in 1/700 scale.

The set consists of six separate hangars and other buildings as well as two control towers and three European-style buildings. There are also some 34 Japanese airplanes plus an assortment of trucks and even tanks. Although the contents are the same as in several sets issued by Skywave since the 1980s, this combined grouping is new. Now as then, the constituent pieces are very nicely done.
