Foresight Models of Japan has announced the December, 2019 release of the JMSDF Icebreaker Shirase in 1/700 scale.
According to Wikipedia,

Shirase is a Japanese icebreaker operated by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and is Japan's fourth icebreaker for Antarctic expeditions. She inherited her name from her predecessor.
She was launched in April 2008 and commissioned in May 2009 with the hull number AGB-5003. She began her first voyage on 10 November 2009. Shirase is said to take its name from Shirase Glacier which was named for Lieutenant Nobu Shirase, a Japanese pioneer in Antarctic exploration.

The resin and white-metal kit comes with bonus white-metal penguin figures.

The 1/700 scale JMSDF Icebreaker Shirase AGB5003 with Metal Penguin is listed by Hobbylink Japan at https://www.hlj.com/1-700-scale-jmsdf-icebreaker-shirase-agb5003-with-metal-penguin-intmyg1901 and can be preordered now for about US$41.
