Royal Model, known for their excellent armor accessories, announces their upcoming release of 1/35 PT Boat Accessories. Included in their aftermarket offerings is photo etch for the 37mm canon, resin .50 cal machine gun mounts, photo etch for the torpedo roll off mounts and resin life jackets. No retail price has been given yet and the release date is unknown at this time.

Hi They are very nice items, like the life jackets could be used in other projects . I bet they wont be cheap.

These photos are only part of a large set like the LR offering. Rumor has it the RM set includes not only a lot of PE but some crew and helmets and additional resin pieces too. For example, the smoke can (resin) shows well done weld seams and has PE straps.

I wonder if they'll be offering some parts of this set on it's own or possibly in several sets? Sort of the way they've done with the 251 halftrack sets. I've already bought the Lionroar set for the PT but I'd really like to have those lifjeackets.

Now they come out with it! After my PT Boat is 99% done! Grrrr..... Gotta have those life jackets! Steve

They have been made aware that, depending upon which boat and what time period is being modeled, some builders will need additional pieces from their kit. We don't know yet what is being decided but at least they are aware.

I sure would like to see some Depth Charges and their racks become available for this kit. The life jackets do look interesting,

Just when I thougth I was hanging up my 1/35 scale modeling for 1/305 and 1/700. Looks very nice!
