Ship History.
Built of steel in Kobe in 1930 the Nippon Maru was to be used as a schoolship for the Japanese merchant marine. She was rigged as a four-masted barque carrying royals over double top and top gallant sails. Known as the "Swan on the Pacific” she participated in the famous parade of tall ships on New York's Hudson River in 1976. The Nippon Maru now serves as a floating museum in Yokohama, Japan.

Hey H, I don't think that it's hit our side of the pond yet, mate...it's listed on Hobby Search Japan now...it should hit the US soon, and probably through DML USA or Stevens first...

HobbyWorld Japan LINK (I have never ordered from them, have no clue about reliability or shipping charges) HobbyLink Japan LINK Listed for 3200 yen, close to 30$ USD. I did order from them once; shipping charges are a tad hard to figure out, but you can still get good prices.
