Steve Neill of SubPirates Hobbies is about to release his first boat kit, a 1:25 scale BK1125 Bronkater Soviet armored gunboat.

These gunboats were used by the Soviets effectively throughout the Eastern front from the initial days of the German invasion to the final days of Berlin & engaged in many close engagements with German armor. You can find a brief history on the vessel at: http://www.avalanchepress.com/RiverGunboats.php
MIG offers an excellent 1:35 resin display model, but Steve's larger kit is designed for RC & made of FRP hull & deck with resin & metal parts.
It will be an interesting subject for any scratch builder with many possible variations of the Red Army's "tank boat" that served throughout the war on the Eastern Front.
There's already work underway on an accompanying electronic ship combat system that would allow model boat enthusiasts to battle each other without the damage at present BB combat entails.
You can find more information on his ongoing build thread at Sub Pirates http://www.subpirates.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4020
