A sneak peek at the Hobby Station release of the 1/350 IJN Akizuki . This kit is available now. The retail price is 5,500 yen.
This brand new model represents IJN Akizuki as she served in 1942. Take your time and view the image of the advanced prototype kit assembled and painted. This kit incorporates the latest slide mould technology. The finished model is 384 mm in length and as you can see from the image appears to incorporate many yet to be confirmed details and features.

Ship History
Akizuki was the lead ship of her class of destroyer in the Imperial Japanese Navy. Her name means "Autumn Moon".
In October 1944 Akizuki was part of the Northern Force commanded by Admiral Ozawa Jisaburo, in the Japanese attack on the Allied forces supporting the invasion of Leyte. On 25 October, in the Battle off Cape Engaņo, she was sunk
