Caretaker Status, Center as in NATTC (Naval Air Technical Training Center), Central, Cessna Aircraft Corporation, Chief as in CMUS (Chief Musician), Class, used with number for Navy rating as: 1c (first class), Commandant (USCG), Commander as in CNAB (Commander Naval Air Bases), Commissary, Confidential Dispatch, Culver Aircraft Corporation, Curtiss-Wright Corporation, Freighter Aircraft, USNR officer designation for General Service, Communications Duties. Formerly (C).

Where as with the other letters most of these were put in place shortly before World War II.
