B & D Barrels have announced the release of their 1/350th USN 12in/50 gun & 1/125th USN 5in/38 gun barrel sets.

The 1/350th USN 12in/50 gun set (part number BDB35010) is designed for the USS Alaska and USS Guam. These are available now for a retail price of US$28.00

The second set – 1/125th USN 5in/38 barrels (part number BDB12501) is designed primarily for the 1/125th Lindberg Blue Devil destroyer kit and contains five items. These are available now for a retail price of US$18.00

Wow, with these barrels, that Blue Devil suddenly became a much more compelling build! And at such an excellent price too!

Uh oh, looks like I may have to dust off the old Blue Devil pretty soon with these goodies. Now if someone can come up with some decent 40mm Bofors mounts it might be a happening thing.
