Oh no! Not the single letters again. Yes, I am afraid it is time to take a look at a few of these again. After all they do have a part in the Navy so they need to be covered.

G -- First letter in the Navy aircraft designation, indicating a transport plane, single-engine type
G -- Globe Corporation Aircraft Division, manufacturer's symbol
G -- Goodyear Aircraft Corporation, manufacturer's symbol
G -- Great Lakes Engineering Corporation, plane manufacturer's symbol
G -- Group; e.g.: as, CVG, Aircraft Carrier Group , or CAG Commander Air Group

I was surprised there were not more uses of the letter G in the Navy. None the less this is the list from my Navy source.
