Alright fellas I’m back. During my time off I thought about the WOD for about 5 minutes, I was too busy relaxing. There are so many different phrases that have been covered and many more to cover. If I should happen to repeat a phrase or two forgive me, I really have not kept any special check list to note the ones I have already done. So, with that said, I bring you today’s word.

This is short for Birth Control Glasses. Anyone who has seen military issue knows exactly why they are called this, they are ugly! They are standard issue for all military members and are required to be worn during boot camp. After boot camp you are allowed to wear your own glasses, as long as they meet military dress codes.

We have all seen pictures from the 40’s and 50’s with people wearing those ugly glasses, well, these are just as bad, if not worse. When worn by males women will not talk to them and when worn by females guys avoid them. I remember on girl from our sister company during boot camp who wore glasses. They did NOTHING for her. I saw her after boot camp at Great Lakes a few times whit her regular glasses on, 100% different.

It is strange that something so simple can change a person that much, but they do.
