Written by Robert Forczyk this book contains a comprehensive and concise comparison between the Russian Battleships vs Japanese Battleships in 1904-1905 within its 80 pages. Illustrated by Tony Bryan Howard and Gerrard Ian Palmer this promises to be a fine addition to any reference library. Available on pre-order now and it has a current retail price of £12.99. The expected release date is approximately February 2009
It was 1904-1905 and it was the first significant clash between a European and Asian state in the modern era and signaled the beginning of Japan’s rise as a major power on the world stage. Watched anxiously by the rest of the world’s superpowers, this incredibly violent war was disastrous for the Russians who, despite their superior numbers, were defeated by the Japanese Navy.

This book is designed to cover the key technical elements of firepower, protection, maneuverability and communications for each side in detail and are accompanied by first-hand accounts and artwork to explain and illustrate this historically significant conflict.
