New USN Cruiser from Niko Model, USS Savannah CL-42.

Niko Model has released USS Savannah, CL-42, Brooklyn class, 1944 fitout. Savannah mainly served in the Atlantic and Mediterranean theatres. She was severely damaged by a German aircraft-launched glider bomb in 8 Sept. 1943. After a temporarily patch job in Malta she headed to the Philadelphia where extensive repairs were performed. This kitset is aimed to be a quality resin waterline kit with photoetch brass. The kit is available now from Pacific Front Hobbies and retails for $79.00.
