Aoshima have just announced another great kitset release in its Waterline 1/700th range 1/700 Japanese Navy Light Cruiser Oyodo 1944.

The date of release for both products is early February 2009 and price has been announced at 2,200 yen.

Watch out for a further update on these items as more information and images come to hand.

So this looks to be the other version of Oyodo with the smaller catapult on the stern? I think that the price confirms it, as the limited addition 1943 kit is about 10 dollars more.
