Rob Kernaghan and Tony Lawrence of Dorking Models (master maker and caster) have filled one of the most important lacks in the Cold War NATO navies in 700 scale. So with some work, you can have one of the "Horse Neck" frigates in your collection.
The content of the kit is the main hull and superstructure (one piece), main mack, squid and director. To complete the build, the modeller will need PE (I recommend GMM Modern British Warship for the foremast and radar), two gun turrets (they come as spare items on the weapons sprue in the Dragon Type 42 and carrier kits) plus PE of their choice for railings, ladders, anchors etc. Instructions are NOT provided so the modeler will need suitable references.

To complete this a reasonable amount of scratchbuilding needs doing, such as the base for the director, diesel exhaust pipe and bollards.

A little gem, this one, and by someone who really knows what they're doing as a first rate modeller himself - I bought one already! Peter F
