B & D Barrels have announced the release of their latest additions to their range of 1/350th and 1/96th scale CNC Brass barrels . A total of 5 new barrel sets for a wide range of 1/350th and 1/96th kitsets has just been released. These sets of CNC brass barrels are finely engineered to suit each specified application.

The full details on each of these sets are outlined below:

1. USN 6in/53 MKXII USS Detroit. Primarily designed for the 1/350th scale these US Navy 6in/53 MKXII guns are for 1920s Scout Cruisers CLs-4 -14: Omaha, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Raleigh, Detroit, Richmond, Concord, Trenton, Marblehead and Memphis. They will also fit the Iron Shipwrights USS Detroit kit. This set comprises of 10 x 6in main gun barrels, a product code of BDB35036 and a listed retail price $US34.00.

2. USN 5in/38. Primarily designed for 1/96th scale USN WWII era warships. This set comprises of 5 x 5in/38 brass barrels, a product code of BDB96001 and a listed retail price $US18.00.

3. 40mm water cooled Bofors barrels. Primarily designed for 1/96th scale USN and Allied WWII era warships. This set comprises of 8 brass barrels - enough for four dual or two quad mounts, a product code of BDB96002 and a listed retail price of $US25.00.

4. German 5.9in SKC34 barrels. Primarily designed for 1/96th WWII German warships including the Bismarck, Scharnhorst and Graf Spee classes. This set comprises of 1 x 5.9in SKC34 brass barrel, a product code of BDB96003 and a listed retail price of $US 4.00.

5. German 11in barrels. Primarily designed for the 1/96th WWII German Scharnhorst and Graf Spee classes. This set comprises of 3 x 11in brass barrels, a product code of BDB96004 and a retail price of $US15.00.
