The very latest news in from Aoshima is that the long awaited retooling of their 1/700th IJN Aircraft Carrier Soryu kitset is almost complete.

We have been informed by a very reliable source that the release date for this kitset is September, 2009.

For those patiently waiting for this kitset it looks like your wait is almost over.

We will update you on this kitset as and when we have more detail.
