Further to this news reporters story of the 29th of June 2009 Pit-Road Models latest release the 1/350th IJN DD Yugumo class looks very close to release.

It may only be me, but the pictures got me confused. The funnel caps are shown as metal parts. Now, does the kit come with PE parts or would it take to obtain them seperately? From all I can see the hull is flush beside the demagnetisation cable. No hull structure whatsover. The torpedo launchers (again) come with no Torpedo to fit them? Other than that, an interesting subject. I wished only they would make less models but in return more detailed ones. Just my 2 cents

The instructions show a small fret of PE, but there is no picture of one. I do agree it has some problems, but overall a welcome kit.
