Mr. Will Jayne of Gwylan Models has confirmed that he has now completed the production of the 1/1250th HMS Queen Elizabeth CVF 2015 Aircraft Carrier on behalf of Highworth Models .

This new Royal Navy aircraft Carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth CVF is due for completion in 2015/16.

This model is available now as a kitset at www.waterline-ships.co.uk.

We understand that this is the only commercial model of the carrier, and is designed around the most recent Royal Navy design, as seen on the Royal Navy website. The kitset is constructed of resin and white metal, and comes with decals.

The hull is a one piece casting, with bridge, lifts etc cast in metal separately, very little cleaning up is necessary before assembly as parts are cast very cleanly
