You will recall this news reporters earlier report of March the 11th 2010 that JAG Collective had plans to release a 1:700 WASP Carrier Deck Vehicle Set.

Well the great news is that production is at an advanced stage and here are the latest images and information to hand.

We understand that at this stage the vehicle sets breakdown is as follows:

1 Tilly Crane;
1 Large Forklift;
6-8 Small Forklifts;
1 Flight Deck Scrubber;
2 Fire fighting Vehicles;
5 Stubby Tow Tractors;
4 Spotting Dollies ;
3 Mobile Electric Power Plants.

We also understand that the Tilly has 30 parts alone without the Photoetch so it’s almost a kitset in itself. As depicted in the images, the Tilly will come with a clear cab and JAG Collective will provide laser cut vinyl masks for the windows so that the modeller can paint the cab and still have clear windows.

All the smaller vehicles will have Photoetch steering wheels, while the Tilly will have ladders, railing and other pertinent details in Photoetch. The Forklifts will have cages, steering wheels, and masts/forks done in Photoetch

There are no details as top price or release date however JAG Collective are taking pre-orders at present.

We will of course update you as more information comes to hand.

Check out these fantastic images!
