Homeport Model Ships are in the very advanced research and development stages of their 1:96 Littoral Combat Ship (LCS 1) kitset.

We understand that the kit will come with a laser cut structure and deck, stainless steel etch with vents, railing, hand rails, and even windshield wipers, plus a fiberglass hull. Included is a full list of how to install the Graupner mini-jets, and where to get the fittings to make you ship as detailed as the real ship.

We also understand that this is a limited production kit, and will only be sold in the United States.

All kits will come with plans of the ship, and a DVD of photos taken while onboard.

The availability date is stated as February, 2010 and pre orders are being accepted at present with a price of US$800.00.
