The latest news in from MiniArt Limited is that they have now added to their 1/35th scale diorama series with their 1/35th River Embarkment Section.

Whilst this latest product will no doubt be very useful right across the modelling genre but to the modelshipwright wanting to create a river diorama in 1/35th scale this may just be the perfect item you have been searching for.

We understand that this kitset item no. 36044 and will consist of 74 parts comprising of vac formed and injection moulded plastic parts and builds into a base 250mm x 215mm.

Also included are six sprues from MiniArt Limited'skit# 35530 Street Accessories set which includes metal fencing, street bollards, man-hole covers and benches. etc. (no doubt due to the number supplied some of these parts may end up in the old spares collection).

We also understand that the base contains vac formed parts to make the roadway and pavement, stone embankment wall and steps to the river but looks like the modeller will have to produce the other three sides to the base from suitable materials.

Hi Sean Interesting little set, bags of potential, I wonder if it presages some river / harbour craft in 1/35th?? would also make a dock front in smaller port as well. mind, you'd need 4 or 5 put together to berth the S Boat alongside Si

Ahoy Simon I agree a great little set and wouldnt it be great if it was a precursor to a new release. Yip I reckon you may need just a few for the 1/35th S-100 but what a diorama! Cheers Sean

Maybe Miniart and Masterbox are working together.... Masterbox has had a 1/35 WWII era G-5 Soviet Motor Torpedo boat, and a G-5 Troop Carrier Version on the books for awhile.
