Intro…

All of us like to build different subjects, otherwise there would only be two kits, the Bismarck and the Tirpitz, my two favorites (HA!)

Right now it seems there is a good deal of people interested in the different battleships of the Imperial Japanese navy, IJN. Of course when any new kit of a certain battleship class comes out there are going to be problems with them. This might look right or that might be over scale.

Well, you can either spend a large amount buying books on each and every different battleship class or you can scour the internet for pictures, or simply buy one DVD with pictures of every IJN Battleship class covered in pictures.

The DVD…

Name a Japanese Battleship, go ahead. We guess what it is on this DVD. Every Japanese from 1900-1945 are represented here. There are over 400 images of these monsters.

Not only do you receive many high resolution photos but there are also many line drawings of the ships. There are also colorized images of some ships along with artwork and 3D graphics of the ships as well.

IJN Mikasa has many recent color images of the ship.

Plus remember this is the first offering like this on and DVD. There is plenty of information for the serious IJN battlewagon modeler, or for a person who is fascinated by Naval history.

Thoughts…

This DVD comes about at a great time. With nearly all of the battleships of the IJN being made a kit this makes a great reference. Be sure to add this to your library.
