John, is that the Polar Lights kit? If it is, I really like what you did with the "windows". I also really like the water. Do you use gel-medium ?

Looks great!

The 1961 movie had 8 windows and by 1964 it had 4 and a year later in '65 the Flying sub appears for the first time!

Looks great. The 8 windowed Seaview is the best looking, IMHO. The 4 windowed (really looks like 2 with dividing panes) may look sleeker but the original catches the eye more.

I used to watch that show all the time as a kid. The only thing I remember is that they spent half the show getting thrown side to side inside the ship while some monster grabbed them. Or diving deeper and deeper slamming into rocks and things totally out of control. I think the poor cast spent most of the show soaking wet.

John,

I love it, could you post more views and information on how you went about creating the water effect.

Very nice John. the water affect over the sub is very good.
I had the Aurora (Think that's how it's spelt) kit when I was a kid, now polar lights I think.
It ended up in my fishtank .
I keep an eye out on e-bay as I wouldn't mind another one. Nice looking sub and was my favorate TV show all those years ago.

Thanks for the memories

All the best

Vic
